Mohan Bhog is an Indian dessert. Hindus make it on their special festivals. It is considered a pure dessert that is very easy to make and also tasty.

Ingredients

Step by step method

  • Put water, milk, sugar, saffron and cardamom powder in a pan and cook on low heat till the sugar dissolves.

  • Heat the ghee in the pan and fry the semolina till it becomes golden.

  • Now slowly pour the milk mixture into the pan.

  • Cook by mixing the mixture continuously on low heat.

  • Cook the semolina until the semolina stops sticking in the pan.

  • Turn off the heat and cover the pan for at least two minutes.

  • Heat a spoonful of ghee in a small pan and fry cashews and raisins in it till they become golden.

  • Add roasted dry fruits to Mohan Bhog and serve.
